Sorry for the language still was in shock as you can say. lol Guys we got teach these young ones importance of safety first during storms. Explain to them that before one gets here and little while after one leaves still dangerous. I'm 40 years old lived on the lake my whole life and I actually waited 20 Mins after the storm. I was standing where this picture is taken when it was struck. Scariest thing I've ever experienced. If you want to call it that. One minute fishing and next second on the ground hardly could see. Wasn't sure what happened till my eyes focused and realized tree was struck right beside me. No thunder for seem like forever. Just a nice calm after the storm so I thought. Be safe please share this so others can see how it's dangerous before and after the storms get to us. Don't push it by staying out s little longer or going out little after one is gone. Trae Baxley Santee lakes , South Carolina Ps while waiting on Fire trucks I heard them went move my truck and ran over all my Rods and reels Think God telling me to quit fishing because he knows I can't buy new ones right now. So after almost being hit with lightning and running over my Rods and reels . I'm thankful to be alive and I'll fish again soon I'm sure some friend let me borrow a rod from them lol .Stay safe and rip some lips for me
