I've never caught one of these before. Sorry reminded me of a algea eater. Or a creek chun on roads lol.

I finnaly cuaght rhis sucker at a bridge i biked to i have been seeing this same sucker for a long time on the same rock and I finally caught it

Caught a few different fish species yesterday checking out a new spot. And caught my first northern hog sucker if that's what it is? It's says the grand river but its actually the flat river

Huge! Just caught a new personal best and possible Ontario or Canadian record northern hog sucker! 15 and 1/2 in, 1 lb 12 oz! Just sent my photos to the m&r to see what they say. It's hard to find any information about this fish because it doesn't usually bite and they don't keep many records. I saw that they have a record listed for Pennsylvania at the same weight as mine for the IGFA. I found some more information, it actually might be a record for Ontario at least. Check the bottom of the last picture. Says 38 cm and 1.5 lb is the record. Mine is slightly bigger! Sight fished from the bank with a worm, it seems to be ready to spawn. I released it right away, I think it's full of eggs and ready to pop. I realized to get an official record you have to get it verified but I didn't want to take the fish away from the water. If it doesn't count that's okay!

Eclipse fish! Caught this silver red horse and found this spawned out Northern hog sucker along the shore as the event was happening!

flukein in 3 to 6 feet of 81 degrees summer water temp coming out of the grass beds i would guess they were in their to stay out of the ☀️ hottt
